Hi All,

I hope you are all keeping safe and well.

Some lovely news to start with. On the 16th of April, Miss Hothersall had her baby girl who they have called Lottie. They are both home and doing well J

Now as we are coming to the end of another week of learning from home let’s see what the busy bees in Chestnut Class have been getting up to.

We’ll start with Andrew….

Andrew has been very busy working on his fine motor skills. He has been practising his stacking, threading and completing tricky jigsaws. He has also done some lovely colouring and been recognising his Numicon shapes. After all this hard work Andrew definitely deserved that sticker!! Well done Andrew!!

Let’s see what Harry has been busy with ….

Harry has been reading ‘What the Ladybird Heard’ at home this week with Mummy and his sister. They then followed visual instructions to make a super ladybird of their own! Harry looks very proud of his. He has also been very busy practising his counting and working on his numbers.

Harry has also been working on those very important fine and gross motor skills, doing jigsaws, jumping on the trampoline, and working out with Joe Wicks. Wow, what a superstar Harry is!!

Next up is Scarlett……

Scarlett has been as busy as always, helping Mummy with chores, playing in the garden with her bubbles, and practising her Maths on Education City. Scarlett has been putting her creative flare to good use again and making some lovely, colourful pictures. In her chill time she had a movie night with Mummy and chose to watch Tinkerbell and the Secret of the Wings. Scarlett was lucky enough to snack on yummy strawberries whilst she watched the film. Mmmmmmmm.

Let’s look at what Noah has been up to….

Noah has been having lots of learning fun on Education City. He has been practising writing his super numbers and letters, and even had time to make some yummy bread and pizza bases!!

He has also been playing with his twin brother Josh and helping Daddy out in the sunny garden, planting some herbs in the homemade herb garden that they made out of an old wooden pallet!

I also heard that Noah has done something extra amazing whilst at home …. He has tried broccoli and cauliflower!!! This is a huge achievement for Noah and we are all very proud of him. Well done Noah!!

Last but not least is our Star of the Week, George…..

George’s Mummy has sent me some amazing videos this week of George doing some super talking whilst reading a book with her. He tries really hard to say the words. George has also been going on lots of walks and naming lots of things he can see. Fantastic work George!!

Thank you again for sending me all your super videos and photos, we love to see what you have all been up to.

Have a lovely weekend and stay safe,

Miss Heaton x
