What have Rowan class teachers been up to?

This is what we have been up to when we have not been busy doing work for school.

Mrs Taylor

Hello everyone

I have been going on lots of lovely walks with my family. My little boy collected little stones and rocks in his hat and then throw them into the water. He loved watching the water splash when the stones dropped in. We have enjoyed having an ice cream and exploring in the woods. And we have been having tasty picnics in the park.

Mrs Carney

Hello

I have been walking my dog Oscar with my boys they have been climbing trees! We have found lots of painted pebbles on our walks too which is lovely they have been hidden in trees, under benches and on the ground.

What animals can you see in my pictures that we have seen whilst on our walk?

I have been baking chocolate brownies which were yummy and they did not last very long!!

We also did some pound dipping with nets where we caught some tadpoles and a newt! We were very careful with then when we held them, they felt very slimy and tickled our hands!! We put them gently back into the pound. We are going to visit the pound every few days so we can see how the tadpoles are growing. Do you know what tadpoles grow into?

Hope you are all safe and well! Take care.

Hello Rowan class

I hope that you have all been safe and well at home. I have loved hearing about all the wonderful things you have been doing whilst learning from home. Whilst I have been at home, I have been going on lots of walks with my dog called Bruce. I have enjoyed doing some gardening  and keeping all my plants healthy. I have tried my best to improve my baking skills, but I still need some more practice!

Mr Aindow

Hi Rowan class, I hope you are all well and you have been having lots of fun and have been enjoying doing super learning from home, this is just a little message from me, Mr Aindow to say hi, I’ve been missing you all and to let you know what I’ve been up to since we last saw each other.

I have spent a couple of weeks in school but when I’ve not been in school I’ve been doing lots of work on my computer and I have also been doing lots of different jobs around my house and I have been spending plenty of wonderful time with my family.

So what jobs has Mr Aindow been doing, well I have spent time in the garden, mowing the lawn, trimming and cutting the bushes in my front garden, cleaning the patio with the pressure washer, I’ve also painted the garage door, changing it from white to black (I really do think it looks much better black) and then I had to fix the fence because it blow down in the wind.

I have been on some lovely walks with my family, just around the area with live to get some exercise, also been out on my bike for some exercise as well with my sons Matthew, Steven and Mrs Aindow came along on the walks but Mrs Aindow has managed to walk a bit further than the boys and I. We have also had some lovely barbecues while the weather has been so nice, plenty of sausages and burgers.

Well I cannot wait to see you all again soon, bye for now.

Keep sending in all your pictures we love to hear how you are getting on, we all miss you very much and I know your friends are missing each other too!

Keep up the hard work!
