WOW! 8R have had such a busy week this week.

This week started off with something exciting. It was Jakes birthday on the weekend so he was very kind and brought in some yummy sweets to share with us all, thanks Jake!

We have finished off our letters to Santa this week and have all done some super writing. We asked for lots of exciting presents and also some nice things like being able to see our family and friends. We have  also planned our very own Christmas parties. We used our iPads to find our favourite party food, decorations and games and found out the prices of these. After this we used our money skills to add together all of our party things to see how much it would cost us.

On Tuesday afternoon we had a special treat. We had some hot chocolate with marshmallows in and we watched our schools Christmas production. We laughed so much, joined in with the singing and really enjoyed watching it. We thought everybody was AMAZING!

On Wednesday we had a super special morning and a very important visitor. We all had breakfast in class and then we had a teams call with Santa! We were very excited to see him. After Santa’s visit we got another visit from two of his helpful elves! They brought us all round a Christmas present which we are very excited to open.

On Thursday we had a fun arty and crafty day. As you can see from our pictures we used our food technology skills and made a gingerbread house from biscuits and decorated it. Then we made a Christmas tree using green icing. However our Christmas tree is very exciting because it is filled with all of our favourite sweets!

We are all very excited for half term and for Christmas!
