Oak class had a Cake-tacular time during our Macmillan coffee morning. We had a special visit from very special Mummies and Daddy's who enjoyed having cake and a brew with us to celebrate the occasion.

Throughout the day we did lots of fun cake themed activities, to start us off Miss Melling sang 'Five Current Buns' and with our turn taking board we all had the chance to feed our very hungry bear friend. Once bear was full to the brim we were all feeling peckish ourselves so Miss Melling helped us make our very own rice crispy cakes. We all took turns in adding rice crispies to the melted chocolate and each had a go at mixing and adding the mix to the cases. It was time to put the cakes in the fridge but not before caught Miss Potter red handed finishing off what was left!

Once our special guests left it was time to get busy with the rest of our caketivities. We had play-dough cake making which Bobby loved to dress up as a baker for and make his friends some yummy muffins. Noah enjoyed filling his cupcake cases up with rice crispies and George loved feeding the bear all of the current buns.

I think we will all sleep well tonight with our full tummies.

Have a lovely weekend everybody :)
