10R have enjoyed sorting through our donations and then Sam and Callum lead us safely to the charity shop.

Inside the shop pupils were able to ask a member of stafff they worked at the shop, as she had no uniform on. This was a good practical safer stranger exercise. When we had established the lady was a shop manager we offered her our donations.

Cordell and Sarah then worked well together to get us all back to school safely.

Pupils loved this activity. When we returned to school we discussed what went well about our journey and who would benefit from the donations.

Those who donated have a bit more space and pride of doing a good deed; pupils felt happy to be out of school getting fresh air whilst helping others; the staff at Derian House charity shop were happy to receive a donation and the children of Derian House will get more money spent on them.

Great Work 10R and a massive THANK YOU to all of you who generously donated!
