What a busy week we have had in 7P!

We have continued with our topic ‘We’re going on a Safari’. Miss Hendy went to the zoo in the holidays so we have used her pictures to help us build and write some super sentences! We have also been reading our story ‘We all go on Safari’ and learnt some number words in Swahili!

This half term we have been introduced the our time topic for your maths work. We have been matching analogue clocks to digital, remembering how to make o clock using the hands in play dough and playing what’s the time Mr Wolf.

We have introduced outdoor school to our work, where we went out looking for different plants and animals around school, talking about the similarities and differences. We spotted a few daisys, mushrooms, slugs, snails and other insects!

PE we have been getting prepared for athletics by following different shapes cones in different ways and different sizes, including jogging, running, skipping and walking. 7P were great at this and tried really hard to make the shapes!

This week 7P have continued to show their independence skills by using their choice works schedules on their 1:1 iPads and they have really loved this! Well done 7P! We have also made porridge today using the schedules to help us, choosing our own toppings!

An extra special well done to Sophia for her beautiful safari picture she painted at home! Well done for embracing the topic!
