It has been a very busy few weeks for 7P!

Before going out into the community we have been practicing crossing the road using a zebra crossing on our bike track. We worked on making sure we were looking left and right, waiting for the cars to stop and ensuring we crossed safely.

We have been learning about our feelings in our Get In the Zone sessions. We have done this through attention autism, bingo and pairs games.

As part of this half terms curriculum, 7P are working in looking after our school. We have spent a lot of time in the poly tunnel clearly up weeds, tidying up and re planting some of the potatoes and bulbs we found. We even found a frog whilst we were tidying up!

As the weather is currently in the autumn season we have been learning lots about this. We have been on photo walks trying to find items that are a sign of autumn and completing autumn themed activities in class such as dressing our build a bears for the weather and using our fine motor skills to collect conkers. We have even made hedgehog bread which tasted amazing!

In P.e we have been working in our team work skills through parachute games. This has involved us doing good listening, good looking and good talking.

Sadly we said goodbye to Mrs Baxendale this week and we ended the week with a wonderful party to send her off!

We are all looking forward to our last week of half term, especially celebrating something spooky!
