11R - Our final term at Astley Park School

Well we are in our final term at Astley Park School- and the sun is shining - we have had a lovely first week back, it’s always nice, after a couple of weeks off school, to get back with our friends and find out what every has been up to in the holidays- we have had camping, holidays abroad, staycations, cinema, bowling, meeting up with friends and all had lots of news on Monday!

We have also been talking about what events will be coming up in the next few weeks, we are continuing with our Chorley in Bloom, which we all enjoy, the only difference is that we will be focusing more on getting to the venue more independently, setting off in smaller groups, with less adult support!

In PE we are looking at tag rugby, our first lesson was so much fun! Our English lessons are going to incorporate writing our personal statements/ CV’s! In Maths we are continuing working on our functional skills!

We have lots of things to look forward to College Visits, Earth day, the Coronation of King Charles and lots of other things,
