What a busy week in sycamore ! 

The children have discussed the events of bonfire and re created their very own firework display using paints and different techniques for their art. They explored splatting , blowing , dripping and finger painting for their display piece. 
Miss Molloy lead a sparkler safety lesson in the forest school area , where the children all had a go at safely using sparklers.

On Thursday we began learning the story of the nativity. The children asked lots if Interesting questions and completed a fabulous work.

On Friday the whole school gathered on the playground to participate in a 2 minutes silence to show our respect for Remembrance Day . One group of sycamore class went swimming at this time but the  2nd group did amazing. Standing proud on the playground where Mrs Chaloner played the cornet as a symbol of respect. 
In class we discussed and learnt all about why we do this and what the poppys sygnify for us.
