WOW, what a busy week this week has been…

Our learners have done some great work this week, and have tried their best in all they have done! 
We have spoken about our weekend news, looking at what each of our friends and staff have been up to over the weekend. Followed by picture news.
Reading and number work numerous times throughout the week. Community visit to go and get our fruit for morning snack. 
Sharing our learning was great, having our loved ones come to see how we learn and what we have been learning about! The children listened well as Miss Hendy explained about Islamic new year, how and why it is celebrated. The children then got to do a fun activity linking to the Islamic new year, with the help of their loved ones and staff. Such a lovely afternoon, thank you to those who could make it to our sharing our learning. 
The children have done some work on light and sound. The children looked at different pictures and told Miss Hendy which was for light, and which was for sound. The children did amazing and could independently answer correctly. This was followed by an activity on the iPad, looking at shadows and how to make them bigger and smaller.
