We have had a fantastic first week back.

On Monday, we shared and celebrated lots of holiday news from half-term. We also went on a weather walk and then wrote our own weather forecast. We also dressed our class bears appropriately for different weather forecasts.

On Tuesday, we started our new topic of dance in PE in the morning, then in the afternoon, we had a go at handling data by exploring tally charts.

On Wednesday, we continued with tally charts and even started to create bar charts. In the afternoon, we celebrated bonfire night by creating lovely painted pictures with glitter sparkles added to them.

On Thursday, we had our very first swimming lesson of 9P! Everyone did amazing swimming and worked hard to get dressed as independently as possible. In the afternoon, we started PSHE, learning about risk by playing a board game. Finally, on Friday, we enjoyed a new weather sensory story and wrote some sentences that included adjectives. At the end of our week, we celebrated with Golden Time and assembly. Everyone has had such an amazing week and we are all very proud of you, but this week’s Star of the Week was awarded to Noah.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone and stay safe.
