Rowan

This week in Rowan class we have been doing lots of Christmas activities. 

On Wednesday we had our Christmas dinner cooked by the wonderful staff in the kitchen at school which was delicious.

On Wednesday in Rowan class we listened to the story ‘dogs don’t do ballet’. A lovely story about a dog who wants to become a ballerina but everyone keeps says dog don’t do ballet. But, we discovered in our story that dogs do ballet.

Halloween celebrations! 

Today we have had lots and lots of fun in Rowan class!

We dressed up in our halloween costumes and played lots of halloween games.

First we played pass the parcel, then we had a competition on which team could dress Miss Albrighton and Miss Aindow up like a mummy…

Rowan class have had a super week! This week in my creativity they did super team work with a peer and created beautiful autumn trees. They dabbed ear buds in red, brown and yellow paint and added autumn leaves to the trees. Great team work Rowan class! And on Thursday we started our Halloween…

This morning Rowan hosted a virtual coffee morning. Some parents joined us on Microsoft Teams for the coffee morning. We sang 5 currant buns and did some super splatting. We enjoyed a drink and a biscuit or cake while having a good chat with our friends.

Happy 11th Birthday Mia!

Mia has had a fantastic birthday today in Rowan class. Mia enjoyed playing pass the parcel this morning with her class friends. And this afternoon Rowan class have had lots of fun making cupcakes!

The sun has been shining for us this week at summer school so group 2 have spent lots of time keeping active outside.
