Hi everyone,

Well, what a fabulous 6 star challenge  sports week it has been...everyone seems to have had such a fun time taking part in lots of different sports either in school or at home.

It was great fun every morning watching the daily challenge online and then taking part in it as well as doing loads of other activities throughout the week.

Certificates from sports week will be sent out next Monday morning after Mrs McDonnell has presented a very special sports themed assembly online.

It was wonderful to once again catch up with some of you last Tuesday in our class video call and the scavenger hunt was brilliant, you all did amazingly well at finding things both in class and around your homes.

This week I have been busy working in school but I have also made sure that I have gone out for some evening strolls and I have enjoyed watching all the different types of birds feeding from their new bird table in my garden.

Lets have a look at what some of you have been getting up to this week.

Georgia has been keeping very active in school and she has completed the 6 star challenge. Georgia told me that her favourite activity was throwing and catching  and she liked the signalong video of Ms Lea running in the rain !

As well as taking part in the daily challenges Georgia has also been keeping fit this week in school by cycling,  walking around the track, taking part in Cosmic yoga and joining in with Wake up and Shake up.

A fabulous active week Georgia

Amelia has also been working hard on keeping active in school and has done lots of different activities as well as completing the 6 star challenge. Amelia really enjoyed doing the balloon challenge and laughed a lot when it kept falling onto the floor and she also had great fun having a game of crazy golf.

Amelia has also taken part in cycling, walking around the track, yoga and Wake up and Shake up as well as almost completing a 90 piece jigsaw all by herself.

A brilliant week Amelia.

Nathan had great fun and lots of laughs taking part in the challenges at home. The sock and shoe activity looked so funny and you did really well walking across the sea of socks and shoes in your kitchen.

I thought you did really well in the catching and throwing activity too...you have got great control when catching the ball Nathan.

A wonderful week for you Nathan

Jessie has had a busy week at home reading the Tortoise and  Hare story and then completing lots of related activities....I hope you enjoyed the story Jessie, its one of my favourites.

Jessie also enjoyed taking part in the scavenger hunt with her class mates and has done some fabulous painting with her new unicorn paints as well as spending time working on Education City.

Well done Jessie, you have kept very busy.

Isaac has completed all of the 6 star challenges, well done Isaac, I can see from the  photo's that you have worked really hard and been very active and healthy throughout the week.

As well as taking part in all of the challenges Isaac has also found time to do lots of maths work, sequencing and colouring as well as practising fabulous cutting out skills.

You have had a brilliant week Isaac

Eleanor  has taken part in  a warm up session every morning before going out with her mum for a lovely long walk in the sunshine, that's a great way to keep active and healthy Eleanor.

Eleanor also went to the shops with her mum during the week...I do hope you got what you needed from the Post Office and Chemist .

Well done Eleanor.

Well, I am very impressed with all the wonderful healthy activities that have been going on this week and I do hope that you all enjoyed taking part in our the 6 star challenges.

Have a lovely relaxing weekend and please stay safe. Ms Lea.
