This morning while half of maple class went to strawberry fields to swim the rest of us in Maple Class had fun celebrating St Patrick’s Day.
First we did an attention autism, in our bucket was a spinning top, a rocket and a flashing spiky ball. Next for stage 2 we did a shamrock fall. Miss Woods had small green paper in a tube, after a ready, steady, go Miss Woods blew at the tube and the green paper fell all over us all. For stage 3 we watched Miss Woods make a play dough rainbow with playdough and pipe cleaners, red, white and green. Some of us then had a go to make our own playdough rainbow.
After attention autism it was time to get busy, we enjoyed colouring in shamrocks, drawing rainbows with chalk, making more playdough rainbows and most of all exploring the green tissue paper in the sensory tray. We also loved listening to some Irish music!
