On Tuesday and Wednesday this week 11G practiced for their Duke of Edinburgh Expedition at Borwick Hall. We were met by Alex and Sarah who would be helping us throughout our expedition. When we arrived at Borwick hall we had to make our own lunch, Mrs Tolan had bought different fillings for our sandwiches, ham, cheese and tuna. We each made a sandwich then chose some crisps, a drink, some fruit, a yoghurt and a treat. All the pupils were super at making their own sandwiches.

On Tuesday after making our lunch Alex drove us to  Leighton Moss.  When we arrived we found some nice picnic tables to eat our lunch, sitting with our friends and chatting.

After lunch we went to explore Mr Murphy set us the task of finding the pictures we took in February and comparing them to how they looked now. Everyone was able to find the locations of the photos and we were surprised how much it had changed.

On Wednesday we made our lunch again and then set off for a walk down the canal. All the pupils took it in turns to follow the  directions and lead the class.

At lunchtime we sat at he side of the canal and ate our lunch in the sun. After lunch some of us helped make hot chocolate on the portable stove. We then set off back to Borwick Hall with the pupils leading the the way.

Back at Borwick Hall Charlie and Nicola practised putting up a tent ready for their sleepover next month.

Well done 11G you were all superstars!!!
