This week in 8P we have been looking at Buddhism.
On Monday in cooking we made traditional coconut cookies, we measured out the ingredients and mixed them all together. We all enjoy tasting our delicious creations.
We also looked at the importance of making the right choices and what these look like. We went through a variety of situations and what we think is the correct choice and why and how these would make us feel.
The learners also looked at the importance of different celebrations like Vesak his birthday and how this is celebrated across the religion. We looked at what decorations would be displayed we celebrating and made our own Vesak Lanterns
