This week has been all about aeroplanes and helicopters. We have explored lots of sensory trays, role play, made playdoh planes and made them fly down the ramps in paint.
During adult led activities, we made silhouette sky’s, cardboard planes, sang 10 little aeroplanes and pretended we were pilots ready for take off.
Our learning intentions this week have been physical and sensory and reading. We have all followed sensory schedules to support our regulation in different environments. We explored the sensory room, intergration room and engaged in activities that keep us calm.
For our reading, some of explored stories. We listened and joined in different books, filled in the missing phrases and recognised key words. Others focused on rhymes and instruments. We enjoyed engaging in rhythmic and musical activities with instruments, actions and songs. We chose our favourites using the rhyme bag and played along whilst our teachers sang.
Have a lovely weekend.
