We have enjoyed a fantastic Autumn 1 in 7P.

All learners have settled very well, and adapted to their new routine and environment brilliantly.

In My Communication we have enjoyed lots of Autumn themed Sensory Stories, enjoying the different sensory elements and joining in with the props and songs. We have shown good engagement in Attention Autism, we especially enjoyed the making hedgehogs with class and spaghetti, as an independent activity for Stage 4.

We practice our Thinking and Problem Solving skills across the day, and this has shown in some already great progress with our independence skills. We have enjoyed lots of Autumn and Spooky themed number activities. We have been learning about capacity, and we used our learning functionally to measure ingredients to make some very cute Hedgehog bread rolls.

We have kept our bodies busy with brilliant PE lessons, regular fundamental skills sessions and lots of outdoor learning.

We look forward to an equally busy Autumn 2, with lots of brilliant learning.
