Rowan Class have enjoyed celebrating Eid this week, and exploring the Muslim religion.
We read stories about Eid, and discussed other religions and their special days/celebrations.
We decorated some traditional lanterns, and designed some lovely Mehndi patterns. In cooking we made some ginger bread biscuits in the shape of our hands, and used icing to recreate the Mehndi patterns. We especially enjoyed eating our biscuit hands.
