This week in 11G we had 2 birthdays Skye and Jake were 16 on Tuesday. 

On Monday morning we talked about our weekend news with a partner. In the afternoon we planned a special party for Skye and Jake, we made some sandwiches, we practiced using a cheese grater to grate cheese we also made a sticky toffee pudding. 

Some of 11G received a certificate for PALS (Playground Activity Leaders), they attended some training in November with Chorley Schools  Sports Partnership. Next term they will be using their skills to help with activities in primary. 

Another week at swimming on Tuesday morning, this week our teachers helped us count how many lengths we swam. 

Tuesday afternoon was PARTY TIME!! for Skye and Jake’s birthdays, we played party games and ate our delicious food we had made. 

On Wednesday morning we looked again at litter in the environment and recalled why litter is harmful to the world. We looked at plastic and the environment and the effect it has on animals and the world. 

On Thursday morning some of 11G helped Mr John clear some of our outside area ready for the summer. 

In the afternoon we went to Escape in Chorley to have our lunch and bowl for Skye and Jake’s birthday. We ate food first then had a game of bowls. The food was delicious and we had great fun bowling. 

On Friday 11G made our regular bacon butties for staff as part ASDAN Mini Enterprise. We have already made lots of money for our Prom.
