8A have had a very busy 2 weeks. We have continued to go on our visits to Lytham St Annes, Hindley Swimming baths and our local Asda. Gemma swam a full length of the pool and achieved her 25m award. Well done Gemma.

Miss Bentham has been teaching us all about capacity in Maths. We really enjoyed these lessons and loved measuring water in lots of different containers. Miss Bentham had a birthday this week and the learners all made her a birthday card. Miss Bentham brought cake in for everyone to help celebrate. We have been working hard in our PE lessons learning cricket skills. We are looking forward to challenging parents and carers this Thursday at Sharing our Learning.

in Cooking and Nutrition the learners have been making scones. They have made traditional ones using sultanas then made some cheese ones. The learners were pleasantly surprised with the cheese scones. We hope you managed to taste some when they brought them home.

Our  Star of the Week this week was Daniel for his good manners, positive attitude and cricket skills. Well done Daniel.
