This week in Sycamore we have enjoyed reading our story ‘Toys in Space’. Mrs Lane shared Toys In Space through a sensory story. The children enjoyed exploring the book before using their amazing phonics skills to build some words from the story. 
A real busy week trying super hard with our phonics. The children have been looking at the ‘ai’ and ‘ay’ sounds . They have been writing the words and deciding in groups which words are real or fake .

On Wednesday the children displayed some super independent work with beebots, creating a maze and directing the beebots around the maze . The children then took turns at using their friends mazes and showed some super communication skills giving directions and working together. Group 2 worked outside pretending to be the bee bot and communicated to their peers to direct them around an outdoor obstacle course. 
Super proud! 
 

We have made a start on some halloween decorations today and aren’t they just fabulous!
 

This week we have seen real progress with the children’s attention and enthusiasm to learning .
