On Monday morning in My Thinking and Problem solving we looked at column addition, we all worked together to solve a problem on the whiteboard with Miss Bentham. Then we solved our own problems using numicon if we needed it. 
Aftef break we did some reading and sounds-write with Mrs England.It was wet play today at lunchtime as it was pouring with rain, some of us played with the Lego or drew pictures. The girls had a game of Jenga and UNO. 
In the afternoon we learnt some more about WW2, today we looked at some Propaganda posters that were used to persuade people to join together during the war. We all created our own. 
On Tuesday morning in My Thinking and Problem solving we did some more column addition with harder questions. In My Communication we researched on our iPads  what the Battle of Britain was and when it happened. We found out some interesting facts. 
On Tuesday afternoons we now have Mrs Mahood. In relax we listened to 1940’s music and we used some regulation equipment , squishy balls, stretch bands, bubbles, a paintbrush and a head massager to help us relax.  Mrs Mahood then put on the song “ You are my Sunshine “ and we used buckets as drums and drumsticks to play along and copy a rhythm. 

On Wednesday morning we practiced some more column addition we are all getting really good.  We also made a card for Paula our swimming teacher as today was her last lesson with us before she starts her new job. We had another great swimming lesson, we practiced our breast stroke and all had a go at jumping in the deep end. Grace even had a birthday push from Paula. Paula told us we had all done really well and she hopes we keep working just as hard for our new swim teacher. Paula loved her card that we made for her. In the afternoon we had understanding the world, we made a picture to show the skyline during the blitz. They turned out really well. 
on Thursday morning we had another look at column addition in maths. Afterwards we went in the hall and learnt some jazz dance moves in PE we all did amazing and were all enthusiastic. In the afternoon we did some mindful breathing to help us get ready for learning again. Then we had a look a jobs that women did in world war 2. Some of us had a closer look at what those roles meant and how they did them whilst some of us made propaganda posters to encourage the women to help in the war in world war 2. 
On Friday morning it was time to get the class laptops out again to practice our coding. We made lots of different code to make our super heroes do different things. Then we my communication. We looked at the events during the pearl harbour attack during World war 2 and made posters with information and pictures about it. In the afternoon we played pass the parcel, watched a film and had pizza and doughnuts for Graces Birthday. Then we watched celebration assembly and found out that our star of the week this week is Daniel. Daniel is volunteering at Haigh hall to repair the train track for his Duke of Edinburgh. well done Daniel.
