On Saturday the 21st of June, it was the Summer Solstice which means it was the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. This is an annual celebration where people from all over the world may choose to travel to Stonehenge to celebrate. Today the children sat and listened to an adult who taught them all about the Summer Solstice and the different activities that may occur on this day. The children then went and created their very own flower crowns and even got to build their own versions of Stonehenge out of chocolate biscuits. Well done everyone, you all did an amazing job!
