It’s been another great week in 10A this week.

We have spent some time finishing off our end of year assessments and completing some practice papers in preparation for year 11.

In picture news this week we looked at different types of houses around the world and then designed our own futuristic house. We had lots of ideas on what we might see in houses in the future, including teleportation devices and heliports for our flying cars.

We enjoyed a fun session for our last swim of the term on Wednesday. We got to use the floats and the dive sticks we really made the most of it.

This week we have spent some time preparing the poly tunnel ready to be used in September. We have removed all of the weeds, turned over the flower beds and watered our tomato plants. We’ve worked really hard and it’s looking fantastic.

We attended our session at Chorley in bloom on Thursday and re-potted lots of beautiful plants ready for them to sell at a plant sale this weekend. Then we got to work clearing weeds and watering the plants.

This week we have also celebrated with 11A, cheering them on during their couch to 5k final run, and then said an emotional goodbye to them at their leavers assembly.  We wish them lots of happiness in their future adventures.

This weeks star of the week is Joseph for being such and amazing support to the year 11’s during their run. Joseph shouted and cheered the whole way through to encourage them it was lovely to see. Well done Joseph.
