Today, we celebrated Rainbow Day in a variety of colourful ways! We all took the opportunity to dress up in green, then we engaged with rainbow and pride month sensory trays. In the morning, we learned all about what pride means - for ourselves and for the LGBTQ+ community. We explored this by considering what we were proud of about ourselves, such as our kindness or our talents in comic writing! We then chose to either design t-shirts for rainbow day, colour in a variety of pride flags, or explore a rainbow-themed sensory room.
To top it all off, we participated in a Rainbow Day walk, where we marvelled at all the different colours and celebrated equality altogether as a school!
