This Friday, the school celebrated Jeans for Genes Day. It’s so nice seeing the pupils coming in with their own clothes on in support of the charity. The staff had their jeans on today too.

The learners looked at the PowerPoint explaining about why we have Jeans for Genes day. The learners were told the Jeans for Genes Day is a charity that raises money to help children and families born with a genetic condition. The money raised goes towards research, treatment and equipment to help the conditions.

Thank you for your kind donations to this.

Today it was also Astley Parks McMillans coffee morning.

It was lovely to see family members who were able to come along.

There were LOADS of cakes on sale along with a nice cup of tea and coffee to help to wash all the cakes down.

Thank you for all your kind donations of cakes that you have brought in to help us raise money for this very important cause.
