As a class group we worked our way through a power point all about Diwali, Miss Hendy told us lots of interesting facts about it and what people did to celebrate this “Festival of light”.
We then had some individual work sheets to complete using the knowledge we had learnt, we used our best handwriting skills to complete the questions carefully. Some of us also did some lovely sentences to explain how people celebrated Diwali.
We then had a taste of a sweet treat called dates, some of us loved them some of us decided that we would just smell them and that we didn’t want to taste it.
