Observational drawings of fruit.

In My Creativity this half term our focus has been ‘Drawing’. Over the weeks we have explored mark-making, lines, shape and texture. We have made prints of our hands, explored making marks with paint and string, drawn our faces taking careful note of our facial features by looking carefully into our iPads to study a reflections of ourselves in the camera. 

This week we consolidated our learning by applying all we have learnt to creating observational drawings.To coincide with our topic of ‘The Great British Bake Off’ our Adventurer’s Challenge created observational drawings of fruit, paying careful attention to the detail that we could see and including this into our artwork. Our explorers created fruit artwork using torn up tissue paper and sticking it onto the fruit shapes.
