What great fun 8A have had this week. We have celebrated Holi as a whole school and had an amazing celebration on Wednesday afternoon. We had bags of different coloured powder paints which we threw into the air. Lots of the staff and pupils were covered in powder paint and looked amazing. Even the pupils and staff who chose not to participate enjoyed watching the celebrations.

We have again tried to improve our smoothie recipes with some pupils choosing vegetables this week. Daniel decided he would like to add carrots and cucumber to his smoothie but wasn’t too impressed with the end result.

We have worked hard in class with Miss Bentham writing some great stories. The stories were about monsters eating Mr Crew and Mrs Devlin, the pupils used their imagination to come up with some great ideas.

We have looked at food labelling and used some labels to work out which foods were healthier than others. Some of us were quite surprised at our favourite types of food.

We ended the week with snow. Some of us walked to Tesco through the park and loved the snow blowing around us. Friday saw a better snowstorm with some of managing to have fun playing in the snow before the sunshine melted it.

The star of the week this week was Jake for super swimming, well done Jake.
